Garvan Gardens is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas...which is actually a National Park. The Gardens are owned by the University of Arkansas and the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service over-see's the property. It is absolutely stunning throughout the year. In spring, there a thousands and thousand of tulips, daffodils, and other flowering bulbs. In winter, they actually have everything in lights. There is even a glass chapel with vaulted ceilings for weddings! The property even is home to Lake Catherine.
So, YES...the flowers and plants ARE full and luscious like in my photo. However, I did do a little "tweaking" just to show the depth of color and shadows.
I imagine that if God has a garden in heaven, THIS is what it just might look like. Hey...I wonder if the Garden of Eden was like this? Thanks alot, Eve!!!

As a child you could often find me quietly "painting by numbers" in my room. More often than not, my paintings were not exactly like those pictured on the box because I loved to change the numbers/colors around. Although I won awards for my artwork in elementary school I never really believed in my heart I was a real artist.
