Meet "Hank"...a very gregarious Chesapeake Bay Retriever whom I had the privalege of painting for his owners Brent and Angie Scott. In the original photo used to create this piece, Hank had snow all over his face! According to Angie, he tends to get himself in trouble quite frequently and was in fact at the Vets office during the entire time I worked on his painting. The Scott family was very pleased with the outcome of my work and I will be uploading a larger pixel photo soon so that larger prints are available.

As a child you could often find me quietly "painting by numbers" in my room. More often than not, my paintings were not exactly like those pictured on the box because I loved to change the numbers/colors around. Although I won awards for my artwork in elementary school I never really believed in my heart I was a real artist. I thought that "real artists" could draw anything from memory, and that was a gift I did not have. When reaching the upper grades we had to choose among our electives. Music...Art...or Dance Team?
