Sensational piece.

Thanks so much, Rona! I love this one too. It's so different from my other dog portraits.

Kind of reminds me of the Mona Lisa for some reason! ;)

Laura Grisham replied:

Artist's Description

I hope you get the "pun" in this painting of a Bloodhound and the title given to it. When my mother tore a picture of a Bloodhound from an ad in a magazine or catalog, I immediately was drawn to the regal, "up-ity", better-than-you attitude he seemed to have. We often refer to wealthy people...those who have had money in their families for many years, as "bluebloods". Due to the scratches, I felt I needed to repair it. That is harder to do than it looks! So, BLUEBLOOD I became BLUEBLOOD II. Which also means that this painting is only available in print form.
I hope you enjoy the paintin...

Although it broke my heart, I chose music and dance. You see, those areas received much more attention, and as an insecure young teenager that was one thing I strongly desired! However, deep...
