When I first saw Whisper and Secret, I could not believe how beautiful they were. They belonged to some friends of mine, Marilyn and Tom Jackson from Tahlequah, OK. Marilyn was ready to get them a new home because she said their hair was ruining her home!
Whisper and Secret are mother and son and are always like this...connected at the hip! I hope to do a realistic painting of them soon, but their POOCH PORTRAIT was created with just a little acrylic paint and a lot of oil pastel. I used bright colors....why am I telling you this when you can go to my POOCH PORTRAIT gallery and see their portrait? Or click "view all" and you'll see the photo and the portrait side by side.

As a child you could often find me quietly "painting by numbers" in my room. More often than not, my paintings were not exactly like those pictured on the box because I loved to change the numbers/colors around. Although I won awards for my artwork in elementary school I never really believed in my heart I was a real artist.
