If it looks familiar, you're right. I played with the painting "Gina's Sunflower" adjusting the hue to see what might happen. And I absolutely LOVE what happened! Same flower - but a totally different look. The pinks, majentas, and purples in the middle were a complete surprise as were the sky turning a vivid turquoise blue.
Color excites me...it makes my heart beat louder... and my eyes crave more. I cannot imagine a world without color...so lifeless and boring. Praise God that He knew that I would live a much happier and joyful life just by pouring a little color into my world!
As a child you could often find me quietly "painting by numbers" in my room. More often than not, my paintings were not exactly like those pictured on the box because I loved to change the numbers/colors around. Although I won awards for my artwork in elementary school I never really believed in my heart I was a real artist. I thought that "real artists" could draw anything from memory, and that was a gift I did not have. When reaching the upper grades we had to choose among our electives. Music...Art...or Dance Team?
