Meet "Caddy Mo"...a much loved Shih-Tzu. I met her owner at the 2011 Arkansas Flower and Garden Show. My husband's company always has a booth and they are gracious enough to allow me a small space. I set up my easle and painted and had a few paintings on display. As soon as Cheryl and Joy saw me, out came the
I-Phones and I saw tons of photo's of Joy's precious Caddy. She was like a new mother showing off her baby pictures! Her best friend, Cheryl, commissioned me to paint Caddy Mo's portrait as a birthday gift for Joy. I would say that we all need a friend like Cheryl!
About Laura Grisham
As a child you could often find me quietly "painting by numbers" in my room. More often than not, my paintings were not exactly like those pictured on the box because I loved to change the numbers/colors around. Although I won awards for my artwork in elementary school I never really believed in my heart I was a real artist. I thought that "real artists" could draw anything from memory, and that was a gift I did not have. When reaching the upper grades we had to choose among our electives. Music...Art...or Dance Team?
