Artist's Description
"VanGogh Iris Montage" was created using acrylic & watercolor paint, bleedable tissue paper, paper napkins, gold & bronze flakes, newspaper and black paint marker on masonite board. Although it is hard to see in this image, the piece screams to be touched due to all of the various textures and items used. The "line" toward the bottom was actually created using trimmings from a previous painting! The napkins that I used were floral and leaves. The "pitcher" was created using newspaper painted with liquid bronze and then gluing on metalic flakes. I have a feeling I will continue this style with my favorite paintings from my favorite artists...more to come!
*This piece is currently for sale. It was created on masonite board and will arrive unframed in order for you to choose the framing that works best with your home decor.
*THE ORIGINAL IS PART OF THE PRIVATE ART COLLECTION OF
DR. BRADLEY AND CATHY HENRY, LITTLE ROCK, AR.

Although it broke my heart, I chose music and dance. You see, those areas received much more attention, and as an insecure young teenager that was one thing I strongly desired! However, deep...

Thanks Judy...guess what it's called? Bleedable tissue paper, and of course a few other little tricks! Thanks for letting me know I achieved the effect I intended! Many Blessings, Laura
