Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Merry Christmas Steve and Julie! I know that "Maggie" has brought much joy into your life and now everyone else can enjoy her beauty too.
I painted Maggie on a 20x20x1.5 gallery wrapped canvas, sketched her in pencil, and then added the red background using a stencil brush. The rest was easy. Look into her eyes and you can tell she is a very, very happy pooch!

As a child you could often find me quietly "painting by numbers" in my room. More often than not, my paintings were not exactly like those pictured on the box because I loved to change the numbers/colors around. Although I won awards for my artwork in elementary school I never really believed in my heart I was a real artist. I thought that "real artists" could draw anything from memory, and that was a gift I did not have. When reaching the upper grades we had to choose among our electives. Music...Art...or Dance Team?
