WHISPER AND SECRETare Sheltie's with a mother/son bond I have never seen before between two dogs. They are literally bound at the hip and never, ever are apart. This pair of Shetland Sheepdogs have the most beautiful coats I have ever seen. In fact, their coats were so thick that the owner could not keep up the maintenance and found herself giving them away to someone who had the time to do so.
When I began painting POOCH PORTRAITS I knew that I had to paint WHISPER AND SECRET. I loved using shades of orange, purple, blue, and yellow to complement their natural coloring.

Laura, it's so good to hear from you again. How are you doing, girl? I've missed talking with you. I had to comment on your darling Shelties here and even though Shelties are very cute, it's the way you painted them which is so special. They're full of whimsy, curiosity, happiness and are probably both scamps. They bring to mind the old saying "bright eyed and bushy tailed". Gorgeous!! F/V
