Welcome to my home! Yes, this is an actual photo of the waterfall focal that my husband installed shortly after we moved in 12 years ago. The water flows over a hammered piece of copper which now has a lovely patina, into a small pool. From there it flows over a large, flat rock and then drops into a larger pool. We love the rocks and boulders and chose each one individually. The moss and lichen just add more beauty!
In front of the larger pool is a flower bed which we change seasonally. Here, you can see the white pansies along with the summer's begonia's. Because it was Autumn, I placed various sizes of bright orange pumpkins along the rocks and purple pansies and orange viola's beside them...still in their little plastic containers. Yes, they will be planted in the other flower bed areas after Halloween. The falling leaves land in the pools and on the rocks and add a wonderful Fall beauty to the design. I love our yard!
